HEALTH, SAFETY, ENVIRONMENT & QUALITY (HSEQ)

ENRROXS has developed an integrated system to manage the all-important Health, Safety, Environment and Quality functions within the Group. This system was initially based on 3 international standards:

OHSAS 18001:2007 for Occupational Health and Safety

ISO 14001:2004 for Environment

ISO 9001:2008 for Quality

Recent updates, particularly in the Quality area are being studied, with a view to later implementation.

In accordance with the philosophy that has governed the development of these standards, ENRROXS’ system embraces all the positive elements required for effective implementation of the standards, namely:

• Management commitment, by regular involvement of senior executives in brainstorming sessions, rather than (as happens in many organizations) “quarantining” HSEQ activity to a “necessary evil” area,
• Communication, Involvement and Representation of views and developments across the complete spectrum of the workforce, clients, suppliers and customers,
• Written-down Policies and Procedures covering all functions of business activity, covering all stakeholders, including, where necessary, provision for education, training and competence testing,
• Prudent management of all resources, whether human, physical or financial, with mandatory record-keeping, wherever appropriate,
• Hazard and Incident Management, with accompanying training courses wherever appropriate,
• Over-arching monitoring/correction/improvement mechanisms, to minimise the occurrence or repetition of undesirable outcomes.

ENRROXS has arrangements in place for the necessary regular third-party auditing of its systems.
